North Of River Productions

Hi fans and friends. I just wanted to post a warning about a photographer that's scamming girls. He calls himself Michael, and his website is www.northofriver.com. He sent me a link to some of his work in his first email. Here is that email in full. I'm posting it because apparently he does little to change it from for each model he tries to scam.

I had seen your work with Eric Kroll under the name "Jessica" and I have always wanted to work with you. Then I stumbled upon your work as Seda and found your contact info.

Anyways, I am interested in working with you on a paid shoot.

The style range from artistic to erotic nudes.

It pays $1,500-$3,500 depending on the style and length of each shoot.

Please email me back so we can discuss specifics and so I can provide more detailed information on the shoot.

Thanks and I hope to hear back from you.

Here is some more detailed information on the shoot:

Basically I shoot high-end Black and White erotic art that is then sold directly to private collectors as either single prints or as a collection of images in a leather bound, hard cover book. The images are not for any type of digital format or print publication outside of what is provided to the collectors. The "model release" is more of a contract that provides details on what the images are to be used for.

I pay $1,500 to $2,500 for basic erotica and upwards of $6,500+ for more explicit erotica.

I work quite a bit with agency models and actresses that need work. However, since their agencies do not allow such work, their names are not used and many times I either completely crop out their face or use a combination of mask, shadows, and lighting to obscure their identity. This is possible with any model, regardless of experience. However, due to your past work this may not be an issue.

An average model works with me on 2-3 projects over time with a combination of styles. Their average compensation is $3,500-$5,500 per project. With some earning more and some less depending on what they shoot.

There is no real "paper trail" as I pay in cash. One-half at the beginning of each project and the remainder at the completion of the project.

You can view a very limited selection of my work here: http://northofriver.com/1/albums/albums.html and I can always provide more samples if needed.

Additionally, I provide all wardrobe for lingerie shoots. As well as a hair and make-up stylist. Escorts are always allowed to accompany models. However, I ask that they remain in the lounge area that is adjacent to the studio during the actual shooting.

Please feel free to ask me any question you may have. If we decide to work together on a project, I can provide references from models I have worked with recently.

Thank You,

Michael

________

Here's a pic of himself he sent me. It may not be him (UPDATE: He claims it's not), but I'm sure he's using the same photo to send to girls.

If any of my internet tech savvy fans out there wants to give him a taste of his own medicine somehow, or just fuck with him in some way or another, I fully support your decision. They guy is a creep and deserves it.

That is all. Love you guys! xoxox

___________

UPDATE!! Things just got REAL interesting when I sent him the link to my blog. He's threatening slander if I don't take my blog post down by 5pm today!

Here is his email he just sent me:

I'm not using NorthofRiver.com for anything anymore. I can register a domain name and get an email address for $6 a year so who knows who I am now. That post isn't going to hurt me at all.

However, I can open accounts on all the the adult forums, boards, etc.. and also send emails to every agency I know about why "Seda" from kink.com stopped doing condom free work and stopped working in LA.

"I heard that she gave a photographer a fake AIM link and a doctored copy of her STD test but that he figured it out and discovered that she was the model mentioned in this article:

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2010/10/13/hiv-positive-porn-star-shuts-industry "

Now, whether it's true or not doesn't matter. And it also doesn't matter that you can provide a million negative test afterwards. It will all but kill you "career" when agencies stop working with you and other talent refuses to work with you.

So, have your "tech savvy" friends (all 5 followers of your blog) give it a go. LOL

You have until 5pm to delete the posting you made about me before I post the "rumors" I heard and also take action to remove your blog, which is really an easy task.

Thanks Again,

XOXO

__________

After discussing it with a good friend of mine that knows the law quite well, I decided to post his emails anyway. Let him spread rumors about me if he wants. Anyone in the industry that wants to know the results of my AIM tests can always look them up, at any time. They'll find that all of them have come back clean. And if they want to know why I decided condom free porn wasn't the route I wanted to take, they can either ask me, or the only porn agent I've ever been with an will ever be with in the future, should I change my mind: Mark Spiegler. That man's the best agent in the industry, and is known for his honesty. He'll tell the truth if you want to hear it or not.

Regardless, no agency will refuse to work with someone based on rumors. If that were the case then half the industry would be out of work.

I refuse to live in fear of slime balls like this. And Maggie Mayhem is right, I need to speak out!

And on that note, goodnight!! <3

  1. I hope you get the guy. If he was stupid enough to actually send that as an e-mail it opens him up for a criminal investigation for extortion if you report him to the police.

  4. Hey Sweetie,
There are a lot (a LOT) of scuzzy guys with cameras out there. Some are merely annoying while some are outright dangerous in so many ways. Unfortunately, it's always been taboo for a model to speak out against someone who poses a danger to other models. Speak out and don't stop! The only way to help keep other models safe is to help people access that kind of information. It will also inspire others to speak out about some of the horrible and gnarly situations they've encountered out there.
You are a fantastic model. It's not just your looks, it is your creativity and your willingness to do something new and unique to help make a great image. You don't deserve that kind of slander.
    XOXO
